Aftercare Pricing

Each family is different in how they choose to memorialize their pet. It is a very personal decision. Some families elect for an at-home burial, while others prefer cremation. Heart With Wings offers water-based cremation. With water-based cremation, there are two options to choose from – Private or Communal.

Private Aquamation

Private aquamation means your pet’s ashes will be returned to you. Private chambers reside within the machine providing a complete barrier among individual pets. The cost includes your choice of a handmade ceramic urn or a bamboo scatter tube.

< 30 pounds: $365 + hst
31-75 pounds: $465 + hst
76-120 pounds: $515 + hst
121-150 pounds: $565 + hst
>151-200 pounds: $615 + hst

Communal Aquamation

With communal cremation, pets are cremated with other pets and ashes are scattered together. At Heart With Wings, we scatter the ashes over local forests.

< 30 pounds: $190 + hst
31-75 pounds: $290 + hst
76-120 pounds: $340 + hst
121-150 pounds: $365 + hst
>151-200 pounds: $415 + hst

Private Pick-up

We welcome you to bring your pet directly to our aftercare centre located in Barrie, Ontario. We do ask that you call ahead to confirm an appointment time. We can also arrange to pick up your pet and transport them to our aftercare centre. If you require this service there is a pet transportation fee.

If your pet passes at home, we can arrange to come to your home to assist with aftercare for your pet. We also travel to local veterinary clinics and can arrange to pick up your pet directly from the hospital. This service is available between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday.
